Mayor Eno met with representatives from Progressive Waste today, due to all the recent problems with trash collection including missing people on the route and unpredictable collection times, and running at night.
In an effort to solve all the issues, Kosse will be assigned to a new supervisor and our collection day will be changing from Tuesday to Thursday beginning on Thursday May 04. They have assured us that we will have consistent service, and trash will be collected citywide by 7:00 p.m. In addition, Progressive Waste will be providing the city with a free dumpster one weekend a month for bulk waste and property cleanups.
