On Saturday, January 21, 2017 at approximately 5:15 p.m., Kosse police conducted a traffic stop on Highway 7 East, which led to the arrest of one person accused of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance and no registration. Officers Lou Lourcy and Mark Morris took the subject into custody without incident and booked him into the Limestone County Jail.
In an unrelated case, the Kosse Police Department obtained a narcotics search warrant for a home located on South Narcissus Street in Kosse. The Kosse Police Department executed the search warrant at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Thursday January 26, 2017, with the assistance of several Limestone County Deputies. The search was very productive and officers recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia a gun and money. Two subjects were taken into custody, and brought to the Limestone County Jail.
