Drilling is underway for the Kosse city wells. On September 11, bids for the water plant construction and pipeline will be opened construction on those parts of the project should begin following as the bids are awarded.

Currently, the village's people either rely on a well, which can only generate a few hundred gallons of drinking water per day, or a neighboring river for their water supply. However, because of runoff and other impurities, these sources need to be purified before drinking.
